This was a surprisingly fast read. I enjoyed the narration greatly. Wells does a good job of including detail but not over doing the descriptions. The story was different than many movie versions I've seen, but I suppose that is the way it is when books are made into movies.
*Spoiler*
I was amazed that in all of the movie versions that I have seen of this book that none of them to my knowledge mention the fact that the Morlocks are cannibals. It is an intriguing idea to think that our descendents could become two different species. Also when the Time Traveller has travelled further into the future, I was amazed to feel the loneliness and anxiety at the end of the world. It was portrayed amazingly well. A very good book for the deep thinker and the sci-fi readers.
