bookshelves: portuguese-spanish-literature

about a doctor who comes back from brasil to his native portugal and his relationship with 2 women and the ghost of a recenetly deceased poet. it also goes into the politics of the country which is a bit confusing if you havent studied portugals inter-war history but having said that there is definitely something smoothe and magical about his writing style. id finished 200 pages in no time.
