I definitely enjoyed this book. It really helped me understand a little more about autism, especially Aspbergers which had always seemed so mysterious to me before. What I liked the most about it was how it was written in five different voices-The autistic child Jacob, his younger brother Theo, their mother Emma, the lawyer Oliver, and the detective Rich. The plotline was well written, and the story was well told, but this novel was highly predictable. I figured out within the first half of the book what had happened, and I felt as though it dragged on way too long. Despite the predictability. think that Picoult was way too ambiguous in this novel. We spent the duration waiting to see what Jacob's fate was, and there was never a true closer. I'm not a fan of novels that leave endings up for interpretations, but that's just me. Besides that, it was an excellent book and I'd absolutely recommend it
