Sabina is a half-breed. Half-vampire and half-mage she was raised by her Grandmother, the vampire leader, and trained to be an assassin. This Grandmother isn't a loving, cookie-baking Gramma, she's an evil, abusive Gramma. But Sabina is desperate for her love and approval and will do anything to get it.

Don't think this is a Very Serious book, however. When the demon Gighul is sent after her things to wrong and weird and he ends up trapped in the body of a cat she then names Mr. Giggles.

I'm not sure about this book. I liked it well-enough but it was lacking something.
