Coming in at a mere 52 pages it's hard to imagine they made a 120 page screenplay out of this short story. very different from the movie but written as lavishly as The Great Gatsby it was a quick half hour read. benjamin is born 70 years old and 5'8''. he's never abandoned like in the movie rather his rich family dye and shave his hair to make him look young. when 20 years old (50 looking) he marries 25 year old hildegarde moncrief. they have a son. he fights in the spanish american war. finally gets to go to harvard then prep school then kindergarten. i really liked the look and feel of the small book. i'd recommend this to most. it'd make a trendy gift too. there are a lot of copies at the library and youcould probably sit there and finish it without ahving to check it out. good read, pleasant, and intriguing. it's successful because fitzgerald didnt go into too much detail and if you dont think about it too much its nice.
