What did I think? I think that this novel solidifies Eloisa James as my favorite author of romance.

Love this book just as much as the first, but in a different way entirely.

Not sure how to describe it...

Seamless blend of romance, humor, angst. Love Ewan and Annabel's impossibly cute attraction towards each other from the very start.

SPOIRER ALERT!
The scene of Annabel wanting to protect Ewan from the robbers was truly the best scene ever. Oh, Annabel, love her. It was a very telling scene.
END SPOILER

I love how Annabel and Ewan are so brutally honest with each other. The questions, the forfeits, the interactions. Delicious.

This book had me aching from laughing and grinning at the beautiful romance of it all. I felt like a giddy schoolgirl who just passed her crush in the hall--AND HE LOOKED BACK. XD

Carrie Lim So many beautiful moments. So many LOL moments. I'm not sure how I'm going to get to the end alive. My heart might not take it. XD

Diana I ended up loving Annabelle much more than I had expected to. And Ewan, oh Ewan, so kind laid back and and steadfast and attractive and enchanting Ewan. How could anyone resist you?

The laugh-out-loud moments are here in abundance. Even lines like that of the Earl of Mayne's ("The man's a bloody tree trunk. I've never seen muscles like those outside of bargemen.") has me laughing. :P

The laugh-out..."

Can I just say DITTO? :p I totally know what you mean. Annabel surprised me at the end of Book 1. I remember thinking, "This character has the potential to become a favorite." Hehe something like that.

Ewan, I don't think I came across an Ewan yet. Not sure about you, lady who has read droves upon droves of romance novels. In any case, love Ewan. He's so Ewan. LOL Like you said, kind and laid back, but something there that's so indescribably wonderful. He's like a magnet. Apart from being ridiculously good looking, he has a heart of hearts. So generous, that one.

Hehehehe... If I were to model the perfect boyfriend...

Diana Animal magnetism. God, that charm. Oooozing with. Hahaha.
