Ford County is completely different from what you'd normally expect from Grisham especially as it a series of smaller short stories that are all based around Ford County.

It doesn't pack the punches of normal Grisham normal but it is definitely worth a read to enjoy the very human and original stories that cannot help but sweep you up and bring into the small communities they revolve around. Still entwined with a legal background, each story focuses on a different perspective of the field in a very readable and pleasant way.

It'll make you question whether this was a good Grisham novel, you may even read other reviews and agree with the negative content but all in all, it is great writing and shows a side that compounds the solid reputation of the author.
