Night Huntress by Jeaniene Frost

This book was SO MUCH BETTER than the first book. I think I'm officially Team Bones. Okay...I am officially Team Bones. This book was ten times better than the first book. A MILLION times better. The plot was exciting, the writing was better, and the romance oh the romance.

Cat...I love this girl so much. Even more than before. I feel as if she's really fleshed out in this book, even though I think she should hold her tongue a bit more in sticky situations. But I really understood her, her feelings, her emotions, and her leaving Bones. Although it did piss me off that she left in the first place, I'm glad that she and Bones met up again of course.

And Bones! At the beginning, I was so angry he was dancing with some girl to make Cat jealous but seeing how much he missed and loved her made my heart break. I was even more surprised when he showed up. I honestly did not see it coming. But yes everyone, I have fallen for that sexy British accent...just like I knew I would.

One person who annoyed me even MORE than Cat's mother - shocker I know - is Tate. When I read about him at the end of the first book, I honestly thought I would love the kid. He seemed like he had a lot of potential to be a favorite of mine. But when he (view spoiler)[ pretty much added himself into the love triangle I was hoping wouldn't happen in this book, I groaned inside. I'm so happy Cat didn't return his feelings, especially when Bones came back. She knew she belonged with Bones but she still wanted to be his friend. And what did he do? He kept hitting on her! Boy, give it up! She doesn't like you. (hide spoiler)] I lost ALL hope and interest in him. Completely.

I kind of got over all of the 'I hate Cat's mom.' Cat finally stood up to her and her mom gets that she won't leave Bones so that makes me okay. But I love love love Juan, Dave, and Cooper. They're a badass tag team. Don though? Not really feeling him much.

Overall, I loved this book. I've already read the third book and I'll be reviewing that soon enough but it'll be awhile before I get the rest of the series. I finally found a great bookstore that has the entire series so hopefully no one will snatch the sixth book cause there's only one copy left and I gotta save my money :) Love Bones+Cat
