This one is set in 1910 in Arizona. Trilby was a cajun debutabte in Baton Rouge when he family moves to the Arizona-Mexico border to run her now deceased uncles ranch. Next door neighbor Thornton Vance is well off but he has a major problem, his water holes for his cattle are drying up and he has no clear path to the river which is one Trilby's parents spread. What to do??? Read the book and find out!!
Another of the subplots in this book is Naki, A full blooded Apache and Sissy, Trilby's best friend from Louisiana. Great chemistry between these two. ust another one of Diana Palmer's great stories
