bookshelves: did-not-finish, not-worthwhile

When the author starts off by telling you that just about everything has been changed to protect identities and the dialogue has been re-created, maybe it's just better not to read the book at all. I plowed through sixteen chapters and then quit. There's no depth to the writing; in fact, I found it to be quite juvenile. The book is being touted as the most audacious heist in history and that's not true. There have been others, even more astounding, where the culprits have never been found.
The gushing reviews made it seem that this book was just tremendous. Not at all.
