My teens have been bothering me to read this book forver and I finally brought it home for the weekend. It's much shorter than it seems and much more intriguing. It's written in a diary format, which often seems gimmicky but this diary is full of action and dialogue. Cathy has an incredibly snarky voice that would be obnoxious in a best friend but is absolutely hilarious and perfect in the book. Plus, it's a realistic ficiton type book that turns out not to be entirely realistic. I won't say any more than that.
