Very beautifully written book. Reads like poetry. The story is broken into 3 parts. A young artist finds a dead body frozen in water and when he returns to his studio in Toronto, he is visited by the lover of the man who wishes to shared the person he had found. Part 2 is the journal of the drownwd man. Part 3 is the continuation of the story of the artist and the lover. This sounds pretty simplistic the way I have summarized it but it definitely isn't. I liked the book but found the journal section a little disjointed. Overall, worth the read.
