I love The Wedding Officer by Anthony Capella, so I was very hopeful about this book. Somehow, it lacked the ability to sweep me away that I had experienced before. I learned a great deal about coffee, and enjoyed the book, but I didn't love it.
This book is the story of a young, foolish man in 1897 who considers himself a poet, but has never sold anything he has written. He accidentally falls into the coffee business, which sets him onto a life of romance and adventure and social change. It will make you long for really good coffee.
