Another contemporary romance with a hint of mystery. I always wonder about the 'we are going to fight like cats and dogs until we fall in love' storyline. Sometimes you never buy the antagonism. Sometimes you never buy the love. This is closer to the latter than the former. with the actions and statements of Zacharia Taylor (our hero) I don't know how Lily would ever get past them to forgive him. He's still an ass at the end of the book. But I did like the kidnapping story and it was good to see the characters from the first book. However, I do not believe that they would have to be read in order to enjoy them.
