I bought this in London immediately after finishing One Day, because I...needed...more. David has such a unique talent of writing so genuine and real from his character's perspectives, as well as capturing the views/perspectives a boy of 19 would have. I found myself becoming fastly fond of Brian Jackson and the story evolving around this very questionable time in his life. I am officially signing up for the David Nicholls fan club - and although I've had a third book of his - The Understud - I have yet to read it... Just add it to the list of leisure reading I can finally do in ONE week after I finish my graduate degree!

For anyone interested, this book was made into a movie and is available (starring beautiful James McAvoy) on Netflix, While it was fairly on, I found Alice obnoxious and a few very key things missing. You'll have to let me know what you think!
