The Bourne Sanction (Jason Bourne #6)
by Eric Van Lustbader
by Eric Van Lustbader
I loved the action and pace of the films, so decided to pick up this book (the first of the Bourne series I have read).
I found that after the first 200 pages (the edition I read had 614 pages) I was desperate for the story to get going - there seemed to be endless subplots, changes of location / time and plot twists that added nothing to the underlying story.
If this book had been edited down by a few hundred pages (by removing all the superfluous scenes / descriptions), then it would have been a good book.
