What an amazing book! I couldn't put it down for a second and finished reading it in just a few days. I really enjoy reading books that take place in the South during the Civil Rights Movement, but this one is one of the best books I've ever read. The character development was so important it and the author did a great job of showing how each of the 3 characters, Miss Skeeter, Aibileen, and Minny are all heroes.

There were many times when I felt tears coming to my eyes while reading The Help, but I let out a good cry when the deacon at Aibileen and Minny's church had a book signed by the church members for Miss Skeeter thanking her and telling her she's a part of their family.

Again, I can't rave enough about this book. I hope the movie lives up to it!
