I ADORE this show, so the book was fun. However, it's like the author is trying to prove what a fan he is and how much he knows the show. Now I am WAY obsessed, but I don't feel like he needs to reference every episode and artifact and minor thing that was said just to create the atmosphere. And I don't think he writes Claudia dialog well. That being said, the artifacts and both the A and B plot are very cool. I have about 50 pages left so I hope it wraps up well. And we all know I'm so obsessed I'll get any more books that are written.

Ruth Do you watch this show? I've heard of it (from your dad, I think!), but have never seen it.

Abby It's in my top 3 shows of all time. I am TOTALLY addicted. :) You'd like it. Smart, historical and character driven.

Ruth I just looked it up. That's Noel's brother - awesome!

Abby Hell yeah! :) I have the first seasons on DVD and the third just prmiered last week. Worth watching online for sure but start from the beginning, the character development works so much better if you do that. :) Also, if you do watch online, jusr know my favorite character doesn't come in until episode 4... :)

An Odd1 At first I thought Cox was like Arthur Conan Doyle, referencing non-existent Sherlock Holmes cases, then enjoyed reminiscing. Yes, off-putting overflow. What did you think of Jinksy, and losing him this week? Before this season, and recurring HG Wells (isn't she a whumdinger? she's my fave), episodes seemed self-contained? Okay, MacPherson, and 60s reincarnations and ... maybe not. What do you think of my review?
