Great summer read! This book is action packed, give lots of great insight to the reality of working on the field, behind the glamorous romanticism of explorer documentaries that often appear on TV. Plus, Mayor is hilarious! It really almost reads like a chick lit novel at parts with her snappy, smart and girly insight into what is often considered a very "masculine career." Recommended for all those who are explorers, adventurers, travelers, even if just from their armchair.
