The second book in the Women's Murder Club series was just as thrilling as the first. Homicide detective, Lindsay Boxer, and the other members of the club solve the mystery of a serial killer who murders seemingly disconnected Blacks. As each of the clues are gathered and point to the killer, Lindsay, Cindy, Jill and Claire work together to bring him down.

When I first experienced James Patterson, I thought that each of his books were unique; I didn't see a pattern between them. Granted, my experience was through occasional audio books. But after having read two in a row of the Women's Murder Club series, I find that there are some similarities in that Patterson leads you to a thrilling conclusion only to save the best for last - an even more thrilling conclusion! Although I'm reading a different author now, I'm looking forward to getting into the third in the series as soon as I'm finished with Mary Higgins Clark's "You Belong to Me."
