I don't think this is a well written book in structure, character development, and plot, but I don't think the author cared too much about any of that. Obviously, the main purpose was to explain his theological views, and I think he accomplished much of that. I did struggle to understand some of what he was explaining, and had he done a better job editing, it might have made the concepts easier to grasp. Instead I had to read and re-read several sections.

Having said that, I do believe this book taught me a couple of things and reminded me of others. In particular I really needed some reminding on forgiveness, judgement, and fear. I found this book at exactly the right time in my life and hope this helps me deal with some situations I've been struggling with for about a year. I guess the real test will be this next year and how well I've embraced the lessons.
