An interesting little pamphlet that gives reasons for churches to use the ESV translation of the Bible instead of the NIV. (And I do think his argument is more applicable toward what churches should use during their services, as opposed to what you should read in your personal devotions.) DeYoung points out several problems with the NIV, including its removal of ambiguities that exist in the Greek and Hebrew text, and "overtranslation" when the translators add words that are not present in the original text in order to make (what they think is) the main idea of a passage clearer.
