really liked it

Please please cry for Raleigh, the boy that represented a generation lost to a futile war. I cried at the soft end of the play, reading it and seeing the changes occuring in the character of Raleigh which Sherriff leads the reader/audience to infer that Stanhope's current state is similar to the disillusion Raliegh begins to feel. The war that robbed a generation is told by someone who experienced it,not researched it, so you get an insight that is genuine and unique.
