If you have read the Kommandant's Girl then I would strongly recommnend this book because it tells the story of Marta after her and Emma part at the end of that novel. It was nice to know what happens to her because their parting was so dramatic. As a book on its own, it was very entertaining though about half way through the story became more and more far fetched. The likely hood of the events in this book (especially second half) actually occuring is smaller, but it still was very entertaining. I am still a fan of Pam Jenoff after this book.
