Good concepts, but the material is incredibly repetitive, and the action steps are buried in rambling case studies, which made it difficult for me to, one, even realize that a methodology was being presented, and two, internalize how I would put it into practice. Essentially, if you understand that purchases are largely driven by emotion and that when you design products it is important to build them in such a way that they deliver on those emotions (ideally throughout the life of the product), you probably don't need to read this book.

mattyschreck Thank you Mo for being honest about this book. I've read a couple of 'reviews' of this on other sites, and they were all so general and non-committal, you could tell they were written by the publisher. I had a feeling that this book would just be another ramble, so thanks for warning me :-) Keep up the honesty!
