really liked it

I was endlessly interested in the fate of Dexter and Emma from page one and I was touched throughout most of the book. If felt extremely realistic and that part pissed me off because I found a lot of the story extremely frustrating, just as I find relationships in "real-life" frustrating. One complaint is that the flashbacks confused me some and the entire format of the book was a bit all over the place for me. I also found that a lot of scenes which could have been extremely powerful and dramatic were kind of anti-climatic. At the same time, I was completely drawn into this powerful story of love and friendship and would certainly recommend the story to others. I'm looking forward to the movie - according to the trailor, it closely follows the book.
