Okay this one is not my favorite so far but I did like it.

Conrad was turned into a vampire by his brothers, Nickolai and Murdoch. Not wanting to be one, since he was a warrior at heart, fighting against the invading Russians in his native Estonia. He has turned into an assassin and is now suffering from bloodlust. His brothers capture him and imprison him in an Old New Orleans plantation mansion which has a history of it's own.

Neomi Laress, was a famous ballerina from the Roaring 20's, who was murderd by a spurned lover in her own house, Elancourt. She is now a ghost and spend her days and nights in the old plantation that she lovingly restored brfore she was murdered.

This book has other characters from previous books, The other Wroth brothers, Nickolai, Sebastian, and Murdock. Mariketa the Awaited, Bowen MacRieve, Nix, the Valkryie, and the demon brothers, Caden and Rydstrom.

I like the way the author weaves previous characters into her storys. I really like the continuity of the way she presents her stories. To me it just makes the plotlines more believeable and that she has throughly thought out her characters mindset and characteristcs before putting "pen to Paper". I cannot wait till I can read more of her series
