I love this author and I have to say that this is one of her better ones in my opinion, lots of suspense. I loved Cover of Night and Ice, this is similar to those two. Lots of outdoorsyness with the need to stay warm in each other’s arms, a great recipe for romance…boom.

Dare, what a name, is a great lead character with a rough exterior and even a rougher voice. Angie is a strong female lead who doesn’t need a man, yet one would not be such a bad thing, would it? I loved the struggle to find help and the idea that not only a human bad guy was hunting, but also one from the animal department as well. This is a book that will keep you up late into the night.

If you enjoy romance/suspense you will love this book. Not as much sex as some of her books, much less than most romances out there. I have to say that I don't get the cover, there is no time in the book that anyone is doing that or looking like that. This is a rough outdoors type book with dirt and grime and little time for whatever this women on the cover is doing.
