As I read Running with Scissors I kept thinking about this book and Rouse's description of the raccoom on his head and getting rid of the rodents in his garden. So much in this book had me rolling on the floor laughing.
I was also reminded of Townie in the more somber bits. I connected with the characters' experiences in both these books more so than in Running with Scissors. Then for sick, psychotic moms My Lobotomy takes the cake.
