I have to admit this is my favorite book by Klosterman, because it is a narrative and a memoir and not just a collection of his typical narcissistic point of view essays...which i like. This is his one piece of literature where Klosterman appears to not have it all figured out and there is a sense of vulnerability and insecurity in this memoir which makes you identify with Klosterman instead of feel as though he is on a pedestal above you. Whenever I read books about a journey, and angst and experience I feel as if I can identify with the author and commiserate with him. This book is appropriate for those 23-26 year olds going though post adolescent angst and strife.
