What would life be like if we suddenly lost everything that used a computer chip or electricity? Cars would die in the middle of the road, planes would fall out of the sky, we would have no way to communicate outside our reach of neighbors. This insightful book explores that scenario when an enemy wages war by launching 3 nuclear bombs that send an EMP (electro magnetic pulse) that disables the U.S and possibly other parts of the world. Very fascinating and shocking. And totally possible. Really makes you think.

Margot I better read this! The book I have coming out SOMEDAY has this scenario in it.

Terrie This wasn't the best written book- but it made me rethink the value of owning a gun and having it handy.

Margot at least they don't require a computer chip, eh?
