it was amazing
Read in July, 2011

Engaging. We listened to it while traversing the territory he wrote about by car. Thought provoking ideas about the ways all human activity, including environmental improvements, can have unintended effects. Ex: demand for beaver fur went down so beaver population increased leading to more beaver ponds where the water is warmer than running streams and so trout can no longer live in them.
