A truly excellent continuation of the story. I love the clockwork ladybug assassins, of course, and the ornithopter. Alexia's difficulty with the Templars is also well framed and interesting. As is common for this series, Madame Lefoux, Biffy, Lord Akeldama, Floote, Professor Lyall, and the larger cast of characters never fails to amuse.

These books are compelling and addictive. I highly recommend them.
