I loved this book and know from reading lost of YA books while working with teens that this is something they will love, especially young men. It is so hard to find books for young males that aren't contrived and boring. This book is neither. It reminds me of Gordon Korman books which are well-loved by many and this author will have an equally successful career if future books are like this one. It dives right into the action while teaching readers about sailing, the importance of friendship and team work and how strong the human spirit can be even when we think we don;t have it in us.
A truly wonderful book!
