it was amazing

I was not so sure about reading this book but because friends kept telling me it was very good I decided to go for it. Sure enough, it was better than I expected. I have never been a science person so the way the author weaved in telling about the life of the woman whose cells are still being used today for medical discoveries and her family's struggle to come to terms with her death and how her cells were treated was so smart for it kept me going. I will never think of cells in the same light. I feel much smarter because of this book!!

Alyson Yeah! I'm so glad you liked it. I've never read a science book either, but thought it was interesting. It does make you feel smart too. Good point!
