Having never read a book by Ann Coulter before, I am now looking for her other works. She is an edgy writer and pulls no punches when it comes to the Democratic Party. The focus on the psychology of the mob was very interesting and thought provoking. Very well researched and documented with lots of great examples. I also enjoyed the history of the French revolution and its comparison/contrast to the American Revolution. Amazing! The legacies of these two very different revolutions have impacted politics around the world today. The idea of “general will” and not individual liberty is the scary concept of this book – The Demon, the Mob. We cannot succumb to the theory of “general will” which is counter to all our founding fathers fought for. After seeing what the Mob is doing in England we cannot abdicate our freedoms to the Mob and end up like them. We need sound reasoning and courage to stand up to the Mob.
