Typos aside...this book is the strongest in the whole series and strong enough to stand up on its own. Where the previous ones were mostly character building, this one actually has a story.

A word on typos, why is it that I'm getting this annoying feeling that typos and YA novels are quickly becoming synonymous with each other?? Is it now the popular thing to do? Spellchecker doesn't exist on your tablet anymore?? Maybe I need to write a book and make as many typos as I can 'get away' with, I'll be popular and make money, because we all know that to be published and respected and RICH, its ALL abot typos..better yet, I don't need to write a story...just gimme your money. I wants it. lol.

I'm sorry, I know there was a compliment in here somewhere, 3 stars for the plot, the story flowed from start to finish, the grammar was very easy on the eyes...coulda been 4 stars but typos and the way the author kept writing about past events from earlier books, like as if by this point we STILL need to be clued in. As if you would go out and decide not to start the series at the beginning and crazy impetuous person that you are, you live on the edge by jumping right into the middle of it, too much repetition for my taste.. It was also the way these past events were 'explained' -- How may times do I need to be reminded about her brand of vampires? Strigoi, Moroi or Dhampirs?

According to her, her editor and publicist... a hell of a lot.

SO if you've made it to the end of this review, Casual reader -- Remember, for a hundred dollars per manuscript, I'll be happy to proofread your typos!! :D

sh(e)reader I didn't see many others comment on the constant "review" of definitions/past events - but that is really started to get to me in this series too. Sometimes when reading a series, and having to wait, I DO like to be reminded of things. But I'm reading these back to back and the stuff she repeats is pretty basic stuff I think everyone remembers!
