2.5 stars. In a few words…

The Good: Engaging, sexy, intriguing, suspenseful

The Bad: Ending, contrived, pacing, romance.

Personally, I felt the romance side of the plot was very weak and unsatisfying (the smexy times were pretty hot though). I attribute that to the fact I didn't really care about the H/h. I didn't hate them per se, I was just indifferent toward them. The pacing was very inconsistent as well, making the book boring and tedious. I even had to set the book down for several months before coming back and trying again. I should have just donated it…

The one aspect I absolutely loved throughout the book was the suspense portion. Unfortunately, even that was shat upon by a rushed abrupt end that left several questions unanswered. (view spoiler) I can't stand when cliffhangers are used with no intention of ever finishing them. But that's just me, I prefer things to be complete. It's like seeing someone walking around with one leg in a pant and the other half of the pants flapping around tripping the sorry fool who doesn't have enough sense to put their other leg in that pant. This book is that fool. Very disappointing.
