2.5 stars.

Dafoe's classic is salacious enough to be fun, with it's protagonist whoring and swindling her way unrepentantly through 1600s London. the pacing, though, is overly episodic, so that by the end, it reads like a laundry list of petty crimes rather than a cohesive tale building to a climax, and Moll's droll tone starts to sound bored instead of irreverent.
