Harry Dresden is at it again. He has thoroughly pissed off the White Council (of witches) and is put on trial and basically sent to the Faerie Courts to get one of the Queens to ally with the White Court over the Red Court (the vampires) in the coming war. Mab, queen of the dark fae hires Harry to find out who killed the Summer Knight and find the mantle of power that was stolen from him. Of course, when dealing with the Fae, nothing is as it seems and Harry gets in over his head really fast. But Harry has lots of friends and they come to his aid during his many fights with various Fae persons and creatures.

This is action packed from start to finish and even laugh out loud at some points (especially the fairy circle with Toot-Toot). For a series that started out horribly IMHO, this is really turning into something great. It sort of reminds me of Anita Blake without all the sex but with all the baddies coming after her with barely a break between disasters.
