"Secret Vampire" was very cute. I want James as my own. I thought it was a nice story line with Poppy getting cancer and James revealing his secret to save her. I also like how Poppy's brother helped her. I am an older sister so I definitely feel for him in the entire book.
I don't like LJ's choice of names in these volumes. Poppy? I've started volume two and Gillian? Is it Gi-llian or J-illian? I mean...I get being different but...ick.
I really liked "Daughters of darkness" how Ash, James' evil cousin ends up falling in love with a human. In Secret Vampire James tells him that when Ash falls in love it's going to hurt him. Ash then quoted him when he fell in love... ah it was so cool. I like how she got graphic in certain scenes and didn't sugar coat too much with the feeding and violence.
"Spellbinder" kept me on edge. It definitely makes me wish I could be a witch. I really HATED Blaise up until the end. I felt that she didn't care at all for Thea until it was shown in the end. I love the whole concept of the witch's being so in touch with their roots.
