I am having a hard time finding the approriate words for this book. I wouldn't say it was a GREAT book but I could not seem to put it down! I read all 395 pages in one day. This book was definitely a page turner.
Update 07/14/2011 - I can't stop thinking about this book. THAT does make it a great book! This author was new to me when I picked up this book. Now I'm looking forward to reading more by Ted Dekker. I'm even giving him his own shelf here.

I like most anything Ted Dekker writes, Laurie... I remember his first book and I was asked to write a blurb. It was a pleasure for me and now I've watched as he has enjoyed hit after hit with his books. I'm so tickled for him, and for readers who get a chance to read this talented writer's works... Meanwhile, hope you are well and happy -- I'm just settling down! (smile)
