** spoiler alert ** This is my next favorite book by Chuck Palahniuk. Mostly because I was able to use it as a guide when I visited Portland. The map drawn inside the book is helpful when you aren't quite sure where you are going and if you want to visit all the hot spots.

A couple of my close friends and I went to a friend's wedding a year ago and we able to go sight seeing while we were there. So, being the devoted fan of Chuck as I am, we followed his map of places and found most of them! Some of the places took a bit to find, even though they were right in front of us ("Leprechaun Park" and "Pull My Finger" were one of the two that were almost missed but then once you start to think like Chuck you find them...)

My favorite place though was visiting the Portland Memorial because this was the spot where Chuck wrote part of his book Survivor (until his fingers started to freeze) and based the mausoleum in the book. Also it was creepy and awesome to see book shaped urns! Who ...more
