I started and finished this book on the same day. I couldn't put it down!

What do you do when you return from a work trip (Annie is a travel writer) to your boyfriend of five years telling you that his therapist says he needs to be apart from you? Her best friend (and ex BF's sister) tells her to be the opposite of you... and so she does.

A whirlwind romance with Griffin is what happens and I absolutely swooned over him. He seemed to be everything that Nick wasn't. When they first meet he says that instead of telling the whole sordid story of past relationships he thinks it's a better idea to only share the one best thing and the one worst thing. While in theory this is a good idea and his reasoning makes perfect sense, but what happens when Annie is confronted with his history not knowing the magnitude of it.

I have to say that I adored Griffin's brother Jesse and his outlook, the things she really had to think about typically were put into perspective in some way by him.

I spent the better part of the last half of the book wondering what Annie was going to do, I knew what I wanted her to do, but I loved that nothing was apparent until it was! ( if that makes sense!)

I had to give this story five stars - There was no choice in my mind. I loved the characters and I loved the story.
