really liked it

I remember reading this several summers ago and enjoying it immensely. Even though it's been years since I've read it, I can still distinctly remember certain descriptions. Jane's mother's "rosebud mouth", her father's cottage and working on his tale of Methuselah, the Persian cat the grandmother gives to Jane in an attempt to pacify the young girl's desire for Lantern Hill. All in all, a delightful, sweet book.
