Once again, Juan Gomez-Jurado does not disappoint. The Traitor's Emblem is a fast paced book that will keep you turning the pages late into the night. The story follows Paul Reiner during the period in Germany between WW I and WW II as he tries to find out who killed his father. But family secrets, the incoming Nazi Regime and his own obsessions stand in his way. The research done for this book is evident in the details of the story. There are many times that I turned to the internet to see if the some of the facts were true, and 100% of the time, they were. No only did I enjoy the story, but I gained a better understanding of that period in history. This is one that I highly recommend.
