Love this book....I can pick it up at any time and just read one or two of the parables along with the commentary, which helps to uncover the content and layers of meaning that are in each parable. After the commentary the author has included a section called personal application in which we can apply in our own lives, the principles or spiritual truths of the parable. I learned quite a lot from just the Introduction of this book.
