it was amazing

Hah! Love this book! Makes me laugh out loud every time. Love the play on uses for the word "chicken." Love how the youngest sister turns her siblings' teasing around. Love lines like, "This is a peaceful meadow...Please use a peaceful voice" and "I'm just a chicken. What do I know about trouble?". The illustrations are fresh and lively with especially great facial expressions on people and chickens alike. The ending's a bit mundane but only because the rest of the story is so original. 4 1/2 stars.
