I nice little mystery I enjoyed reading. Brooklyn, the heroine, is one of the worst judge of characters that ever lived in a book but apart from that she is smart and passionate, moreover she makes good jokes and sometimes her thoughts are very hilarious. But, does she really like to eat, like she constantly says? I rather think that she likes to munch. The amount of rubbish with which she regularly fills her stomach is certainly worth reading.
All the other characters gravitate around her without doing really anything. Apart from the murder, of course. The final explanation, i.e. the motive is rather weak and can only be explained with a serious mental issue. Derek and Gabriel are two gorgeous and capable angels I would have liked to know more about. Maybe in the next books of the series?
