Really enjoyed this. Felt like a New Adventure in many ways, especially with the lack of explanation about the fortress and backstory - the Doctor's just cleaning up other peoples' messes, dealing with unknowable weirdness as a matter of course, the Lonely God etc. But Parkin captured the tortured 10 of the later series well, and the style he used in the writing was confident and intelligent. Recommended.
